MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 13, 1992 <br />PIONEER PARK Mr. Peter Costa appeared before the Council reporting <br />PARKING that it is his understanding that the City is planning <br />to expand parking at Pioneer Park. Costa pointed out <br />that he is trying to sell single-family lots along the <br />east side of DeSoto Street, and does not want to see <br />parking expanded on the DeSoto Street side of Pioneer <br />Park. <br />Scalze reported that this issue will be discussed by <br />the Park Commission next Thursday, and suggested that <br />Mr. Costa attend that meeting. <br />ST. JUDE The City Administrator pointed out that pursuant to the <br />PROPERTY Council's action rezoning the property at 177 East <br />REZONING County Road B from R-1 to PUD to accommodate the St. <br />Jude Medical development, the City Planner has prepared <br />an Ordinance enacting the rezoning. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and <br />declared its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 358 - AMENDING THE ZONING CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA TO PROVIDE CHANGES IN ZONING <br />CLASSIFICATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 177 EAST COUNTY <br />ROAD B FROM R-1 TO PUD <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. <br />MEDICA The City Administrator submitted for approval the <br />INSURANCE Medica Master Group Insurance Contract. The Adminis- <br />GROUP trator pointed out that the cap in City cost <br />CONTRACT participation is in effect, and City employees are now <br />contributinq towards the cost of their health insurance <br />coverage. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-5-160 - APPROVING THE MEDICA MASTER <br />GROUP CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING TAE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0).
