MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 16, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 16th day of June, 1992 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Aanson chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 7:35 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />(arrived 7:45 P.M.) <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Engineer Mr. Mike Lynch <br />Recording Sec. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />DEMOLITION The City Administrator submitted to the Council <br />OF quotations for the demolition of structures located <br />STRUCTURES at 2558 Rice Street, 2620 Rice Street, and 60 East <br />Demont Avenue. The Administrator pointed out that five <br />quotations were received by the City's 1:30 P.M. <br />deadline Monday. There was an additional quotation <br />faxed to the City later in the afternoon. This <br />quotation could be considered with the others, since <br />they are quotations and not formal bids. <br />The Administrator reported that the apparent low <br />quotations for demolition of structures at 2620 Rice <br />Street and 60 E. Demont Avenue is Anderson, Ray & Sons <br />Companies, Inc. The low quote for 2620 Rice Street is <br />$5,100.00, and for 60 E. Demont is $1,200.00. The low <br />quote for 2558 Rice Street was submitted by Bauer Bros. <br />Salvage in the amount of $5,000.00 for the house and <br />$600.00 for the garage. It was pointed out that the <br />specifications call for removal of the structures <br />within 30 days, and work must be completed within two <br />weeks once it has begun. <br />Page 1 <br />
