MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 12, 1992 <br />Blacktop in the amount of 48.9 cents per square yard, <br />and the other from Bituminous Roadways for 44 cents per <br />square yard. The Public Works Superintendent is <br />recommending that the low quote be awarded. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-8-267 - AWARDING THE LOW QUOTE OF <br />BITUMINOUS ROADWAYS FOR SEALCOATING AT 44 CENTS PER <br />SQUARE YARD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LaValle suggested if there is excess funding in the <br />sealcoating and sweeping budget this year, that City <br />streets be swept a second time. <br />The Administrator did not anticipate that there would <br />be adequate funding to do a full sweeping, but thought <br />that a partial sweeping may be possible. <br />NADEAU Scalze reviewed the Park Consultant's report regarding <br />WILDLIFE bids received for construction of a play structure in <br />PARK PLAY Nadeau Wildlife Park. Scalze noted that various types <br />STRUCTURE of play equipment was bid, and it is the recommendation <br /> of the Park Consultant that the bid received from <br /> Odland Construction for Landscape Structure equipment <br /> in the amount of $48,560 be awarded. The City has this <br /> type of equipment in other parks, and it has proven to <br /> be quality equipment and very durable. <br /> Scalze reported that Little Canada Charity Plus, Inc. <br /> has donated the funding for this improvement. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-8-268 - AWARDING THE BID OF ODLAND <br />CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,560 FOR INSTALLATION <br />OF LANDSCAPE STRUCTURE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT IN NADEAU <br />WILDLIFE PARK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Hanson, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MN RELEAF Scalze reviewed the Park Consultant's letter dated July <br />GRANT 28th regarding the MN Releaf Grant Program and tree <br />PROGRAM planting master plan.
