MINUTES CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 12, 1992 Hanson announced that August 25th through September 8th are the dates for filing for location office. There are two Council Member offices and the office of Mayor up for election this year. ST. JOHN'S Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and CHURCH moved its adoption: FALL FESTIVAL RESOLUTION NO. 92-8-255 - APPROVING TEMPORARY ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE AND WAIVING $40 LICENSE FEE FOR ST. JOHN'S CHURCH FALL FESTIVAL TO BE AELD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1992, AS WELL AS APPROVING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE AND WAIVING CITY'S 30-DAY REVIEW PERIOD The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. BALD EAGLE Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and AREA ASSOC. moved its adoption: EXEMPTION FROM RESOLUTION NO. 92-8-256 - APPROVING APPLICATION FOR GAMBLING EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE FOR BALD EAGLE LICENSE AREA ASSOCIATION FOR FUND RAISER TO BE HELD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 1992 AT THE VENETIAN INN AND WAIVING THE CITY'S 30-DAY REVIEW PERIOD The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FILL PERMIT Mr. Joe Gilles, 2538 McMenemy Street, appeared before 2538 the Council requesting approval of a fill permit for MCMENEMY his property. It was noted that the necessary JOE GILLES approvals from the Watershed and Army Corps of Engineers have been obtained. The City Engineer reported that fill permit application, and re Aowever, the Engineer suggested place remain back from the tree the property so as not to place jeopardy.
