MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 26, 1992 <br />LaValle pointed out previous indications that the <br />senior housing project was a go, when in fact it was <br />not. LaValle asked if the property has now been <br />acquired, if financing is in place, and whether or not <br />Presbyterian Homes has approved the project. <br />Lindh reported that Presbyterian Homes has given <br />conceptual approval to the project. There is a signed <br />purchase agreement on the land, and Presbyterian Homes <br />is ready to go. The hope is to start the project in <br />mid-October with a completion date of mid-May, 1993. <br />The City Administrator noted that the Council will also <br />be considerinq the rezoning of the property and <br />conditional use permit for senior housing at its <br />September 23rd meeting. <br />PAWN SHOP The City Administrator reported that Lincoln Pawn & <br />LICENSE Jewelry has applied for an amendment to their license <br />AMENDMENT to add Mr. Charles Wedemeyer as a 500 owner of the <br />business. Sheriff's Department background check is <br />pending on Mr. wedemeyer. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-8-292 - AMENDING THE PAWN SHOP <br />LICENSE FOR LINCOLN PAWN & JEWELRY TO INCLUDE MR. <br />CHARLES WEDEMEYER AS 50% OWNER OF THE BUSINESS PENDING <br />COMPLETION OF SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT <br />BACKGROUND CHECK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, LaValle, Hanson, Blesener, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FINAL The City Administrator recommended final payment to <br />PAYMENT Frattalone Excavating in the amount of $3,381.32 for <br />CENTER PLACE the Center Place project. The City Engineer has <br />reviewed the request and recommends approval. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-8-293 - APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO <br />FRATTALONE EXCAVATING IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,381.32 FOR <br />TAE CENTER PLACE PROJECT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Blesener, Collova. <br />Nays (0).
