MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 1992 <br />incumbent upon them to make a donation since they are <br />licensed by the City. <br />Blesener again noted that the Administrator would only <br />be introducing Presbyterian Homes. <br />The City Attorney anticipated no problem with the <br />introduction as long as it was clear that the City is <br />not requesting the funds. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-9-306 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO INTRODUCE PRESBYTERIAN HOMES PROJECT <br />TO CHARITIES IN A MANNER THAT DOES NOT RESULT IN <br />CREATION OF UNDUE INFLUENCE, BUT ALLOWS PRESBYTERIAN <br />HOMES TO SEEK FUNDING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (3) Blesener, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (1) LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. <br />VACATION OF The Mayor opened the public hearing on the vacation of <br />PORTION OF a portion of the original Sunrise Drive cul-de-sac. <br />SUNRISE The Mayor noted that this vacation has been petitioned <br />DRIVE for by the affected property owners. <br />CUL-DE-SAC <br />The City Administrator explained the vacation, noting <br />that the spherical portion of the original cul-de-sac <br />would be vacated, and the road would continue through <br />to the new cul-de-sac. The vacated portions of the <br />cul-de-sac would be returned to the adjacent properties <br />in order to square those properties off. <br />The Administrator noted that as a condition of the <br />Frederickshaven development agreement, the developer is <br />responsible for paying all costs associated with the <br />vacation. <br />Hanson commended the developers of Frederickshaven on <br />the quality of their development. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Blesener, the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Page 6 <br />
