MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 1992 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-9-307 - VACATING A PORTION OF THE <br />ORIGINAL SUNRISE DRIVE CUL-DE-SAC <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PETITION The City Administrator reported that the City has <br />FOR received a petition for the improvement of Costa Lane <br />IMPROVEMENT from DeSoto to DeSoto by watermain, sanitary sewer, <br />OF COSTA storm sewer, curb and gutter, and bituminous street. <br />LANE The petition is adequate. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-9-308 - ACCEPTING THE PETITION FOR <br />THE IMPROVEMENT OF COSTA LANE FROM DESOTO TO DESOTO AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-9-309 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER <br />TO DO AN AMENDED FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF COSTA LANE FROM DESOTO TO DESOTO AND INCLUDE THAT <br />STUDY IN THE OVERALL PROJECT SCOPE CURRENTLY BEING <br />STUDIED FOR THE AREA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PLAY 21 The City Attorney presented the Council with a proposed <br />ordinance amendment which would allow blackjack tables <br />in liquor establishments within the City provided that <br />there is no gambling involved, that is, no prizes <br />awarded as part of the game. This proposal is the <br />result of a request by Play 21 to place for-fun only <br />blackjack tables within liquor establishments within <br />the City. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 364 - AMENDING SECTIONS 702.070(11), <br />702.120, 703.100(10) AND 703.161 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />Page 7 <br />
