MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 1992 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-9-320 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 1992 CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Aanson, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCE- Hanson announced that Little Canada Charity Plus is <br />MENTS looking for recipe contributions for a cookbook that <br />they are going to publish and sell as a fund-raiser. <br />They have asked that recipes be submitted by September <br />30th. They can be sent either directly to Little <br />Canada Charity Plus or dropped off at City Hall. Names <br />of contributors will be included in the cookbook. <br />Hanson reported that Ramsey County has received a <br />waiver from the PCA allowing for the collection of <br />shrub and tree waste until August 1, 1993. Hanson <br />reported that haulers will collect this material for an <br />additional fee. Hanson further noted that the City is <br />having a clean-up day on October lOth, and it might be <br />less expensive to dispose of this material as part of <br />that clean-up day. Shrub and tree waste can be dropped <br />off at the City maintenance garage on October lOth. <br />Residents can also call 633-EASY for information about <br />the County's tree and shrub waste drop-off sites. <br />The City Administrator reported that there will be an <br />article in the City's upcoming newsletter informing <br />people how to dispose of household hazardous waste. <br />PRESBYTERIAN The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the <br />HOMES applications of Presbyterian Homes for rezoning the <br />SENIOR site at 2850 Market Drive from General Business <br />HOUSING District (B-3) to Residential Business (RB) as well <br />PROJECT as for Conditional Use Permit for elderly housing in an <br /> RB District. The Mayor opened an additional public <br /> hearing to consider establishment of a Municipal <br /> Development District and adoption of a Municipal <br /> Development District Program related thereto, pursuant <br /> to Minnesota Statutes 469.124 through 469.134; as well <br /> as the establishment of Housing Tax Increment Financing <br /> District No. 5 and adoption of a Tax Increment <br /> Financing Plan related thereto, pursuant to Minnesota <br /> Statutes 469.174 through 469.179. <br /> Page 2 <br />
