MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 1992 <br />PUBLIC Hanson reminded the public to be extra cautious since <br />SAFETY when day light savings time is off next month, children <br /> may be waiting for school buses in the early morning <br /> hours when it is still dark. <br />PARK Scalze reviewed the change order to Arrow Asphalt in <br />CHANGE the amount of $60.95 for trail work and weed control. <br />ORDER <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-9-339 - APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 <br /> TO ARROW ASPHALT IN THE AMOUNT OF $60.95 FOR TRAIL <br /> CONNECTION WORK AND WEED CONTROL <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PRESERVATION Scalze reported that the Park Commission is <br />OF RAILROAD recommending City support of a resolution urging the <br />CORRIDORS preservation of abandoned railroad corridors for <br />FOR PUBLIC public use. Council reviewed this resolution and <br />USE aqreed with the Park Commission's recommendation. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-9-340 - URGING TAE PRESERVATION OF <br />ABANDONED RAILROAD CORRIDORS FOR PUBLIC USE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CAPITAL Soalze asked if the City had finalized the priority <br />IMPROVEMENT listing of capital improvement requests submitted by <br />PRIORITY the various departments. <br />LIST <br />The City Administrator reported that each department <br />has submitted this information. However, he has now <br />asked the departments for more definition of their <br />requests. Once this information is received, the <br />capital improvement requests will be prioritized and <br />submitted to the Council for review. <br />SALARY Scalze asked the timing of the 1993 salary workshop. <br />WORKSHOP <br />The City Administrator suggested that this workshop <br />Page 22 <br />
