MINUTES OF THE WORK5HOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL & LITTLE CANADA FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 7, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota and the Little Canada Fire Department was <br />held on the 7th day of October, 1992 at the fire <br />station located at 325 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond G. Secretary <br />Mr. Rick Collova <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Frank Graczyk <br />Mr. Dick Boss <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Mr. Tom Stadler <br />Mr. Jim Zietlow <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />The workshop began with inspection of the new lift that <br />the Fire Department recently purchased, as well as the <br />741 utility truck which the Fire Department is <br />requesting funding to refurbish. Those present then <br />inspected the utility room in which the Fire Department <br />plans to install the washer/extractor which is on <br />order. The Chief pointed out the Department's cascade <br />air tank system and indicated Department's hope to <br />purchase its own compressor for filling air tanks. If <br />possible, the compressor would be added to the utility <br />room. <br />The Fire Chief then reviewed the capital improvements <br />being requested by the Fire Department. The Chief <br />noted that the SCBA and PASS systems have been funded, <br />and replacement hose ordered. The Chief estimated the <br />cost of a new compressor at $15,000 to $17,000. The <br />Chief reported that there is currently a committee of <br />the fire fighters studying compressors and the needs of <br />Page 1 <br />
