MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 13, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 13th day of October, 1992 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond G. Hanson chaired and called the meeting <br />to order at 7:00 P.M., and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br /> Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br /> Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br /> Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br /> Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br /> City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br /> City Engineer Mr. Mike Lynch <br /> Rec. Secretary Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />IMPROVEMENT The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the <br />HEARING improvement of Vanderbie Street lying between the north <br />VANDERBIE/ line of LaBore Road and the south line of Allen Avenue, <br />ALLEN and Allen Avenue lying between the east line of DeSoto <br />STREET & Street and the west line of Edgerton by storm sewer, <br />UTILITY water main, ooncrete curb and gutter, and street <br />IMPROVEMENTS reconstruction. <br /> The City Engineer reported that at the direction of the <br /> City Council his office prepared a feasibility report <br /> for the above-described improvement. That report was <br /> submitted to the Council, which, in turn, has called <br /> this evening's meeting to take public input on the <br /> ordering of this improvement. <br />The City Engineer reported that there is need for a <br />street improvement in this area due to the poor <br />condition of the roads. Water main does not exist in <br />the area, however, there is sanitary sewer. The <br />Engineer pointed out that there is a proposed <br />development for the area, and it is anticipated that <br />construction traffic for this development would damage <br />Page 1 <br />
