MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 28, 1992 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-10-372 - APPROVING T$E MINUTES OF TAE <br />OCTOBER 14, 1992 CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCE- Hanson reviewed the request of the Roseville School <br />MENTS District for the City to join other cities within the <br />District in proclaiming November 8-14, 1992 as "Values <br />Week'~. Hanson read the proclamation which identified <br />the following set of values: respect for self and <br />others, compassion, responsibility, honesty/integrity, <br />commitment, valuing families, and sense of community. <br />Blesener noted that the City~s Parks and Recreation <br />Director has submitted a letter urging the City~s <br />support, and reported that a Community Fest is <br />scheduled for November 14th at Roseville Area High <br />School from 10 A.M. until 5:30 P.M. to celebrate <br />"Values Week". <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-10-373 - PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF <br />NOVEMBER 8-14, 1992 AS "VALUES WEEK" WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Hanson reported that in conjunction with Chemical <br />Health Week - November 13-20, 1992, - Little Canada <br />Charity Plus has large red ribbons available to Little <br />Canada businesses for display purposes.
