Scalze felt that may be true, but suggested that perhaps it shouldn't be that way. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-10-377 - REQUESTING THAT THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION PROVIDE A PLAN FOR ADDRESSING PARKING AT PIONEER PARK DURING NEXT SUMMER'S RECREATION SEASON TO ENSURE THAT THERE ARE NO PARKING PROBLEMS AT THE PARK, WHETHER THAT PLAN HAS TO ADDRESS SCHEDULING OR WHATEVER MEANS TO ENSURE THAT THERE IS NO PARKING PROBLEM The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Hanson, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-10-378 - TABLING ACTION ON THE PIONEER PARK PARKING LOT EXPANSION BID UNTIL LATER IN TAE EVENING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, xanson, LaValle, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ROSEVILLE Lynnae LeBarron, Executive Director of the North AREA Suburban Senior Council, appeared before the Council SENIOR to report on the Roseville Area Senior Program, as PROGRAM well as request City funding support for that program during 1993. LeBarron outlined the various services provided by the Roseville Area Senior Program, and those include: *Senior shuttle operated by volunteer drivers to take seniors to medical and dental appointments; *Block-Worker Outreach Program; *Meals-On-Wheels Program; *Computer service to answer questions about services for seniors in the Ramsey/ Washington/Dakota County area; *Senior dining program operated by Ramsey Action Program; *Senior center drop-in lounge; *Care-giver support groups; *Grief and loss support groups.
