MINUTES CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 18, 1992 The City Engineer reported that the project includes water main laterals and services to the property line. Property owners would have to provide for their own connection to their homes. The Engineer pointed out that at the last meeting many property owners indicated that they already have water services run to their homes. In those cases, the City would locate the stub in the same area as the service, but the property owner have to provide for the connection. One property owner indicated his opposition to the project due to the cost. There was no one else from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 92-11-401 - ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. 92-3, EDGERTON WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT, AND SUGGESTING THAT THE COST OF THE IMPROVEMENT BE ASSESSED BASED UPON THE AGGREGATE OF 50% OF THE PER LOT COST AND 50% ON A LINEAL FOOTAGE BASIS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Aanson, Collova, Scalze. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. ADJOURN Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 92-11-402 - ADJOURNING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Hanson. Ayes (5) Blesener, Hanson, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
