MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 25, 1992
RESOLUTION NO. 92-11-431 - RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY
REPORT AND CALLING A AEARING ON IMPROVEMENT OF NADEAU
ROAD FROM CONDIT STREET TO COUNTRY DRIVE BY CONCRETE
CURB AND GUTTER AND STREET RECONSTRUCTION ON TUESDAY,
DECEMBER 15~ 1992 AT 9:15 P.M.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova.
Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted.
The City Administrator noted that there would be extra
copies of the feasibility reports available at City
Hall for interested property owners.
AUTO SALES The City Planner submitted for Council review a
ORDINANCE proposed ordinance regulating auto sales as an
accessory use in the Business and Industrial
Districts. The Planner pointed out that the proposed
ordinance has been revised based on previous Council
discussion limiting the total number of such licenses
to four with no more than two licenses allowed in the
Business Districts at any given time.
LaValle questioned the minimum square footage for sales
area per vehicle.
The City Planner felt that minimum was a little higher
than average, but pointed out that the provision will
limit the total number of spaces that can exist on any
given site. If an applicant wishes to exceed that
limitation, a variance could be applied for. The
Planner indicated that the number was established
because it was felt it was conservative, yet doable on
any given site.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following ordinance and
moved its adoption:
ORDINANCE NO. 367 - AMENDING SECTIONS 911 AND 913 OF
THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE REGULATION THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE SALES IN THE BUSINESS,
WAREHOUSING AND INDUSTRIAL USE ZONING DISTRICTS
The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Collova.
Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Hanson, LaValle.
Nays (0).
