MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 27, 1993 <br />RE50LUTION NO. 93-1-27 - TABLING APPOINTMENT OF THE <br />COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE USE OF THE OLD FIRE STATION <br />UNTIL THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, Hanson, LaValle, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CABLE TV Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />DELEGATE moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-1-28 - APPOINTING RAY HANSON AS THE <br />CITY'S CABLE TV DELEGATE FOR 1993 AND JIM LAVALLE AS <br />THE ALTERNATE CABLE TV DELEGATE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, Aanson, LaValle, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TAX Scalze reported that the City has been notified by <br />FORFEITED Ramsey County of property within the City that is now <br />PROPERTY tax forfeit. The Park Commission has reviewed this <br />list of properties and has recommended that the two <br />parcels adjacent to Nadeau Park and another parcel <br />adjacent to Jackson Street be obtained by the City for <br />park purposes. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-1-29 - ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION <br />OF THE PARK COMMISSION TO OBTAIN THE TWO TAX-FORFEITED <br />PARCELS ADJACENT TO NADEAU PARK AS WELL AS THE TAX- <br />FORFEITED PARCEL ADJACENT TO JACKSON STREET FOR PARK~ <br />OPEN SPACE, AND PONDING PURPOSES, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO FILE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WITA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY FOR THIS ACQUISITION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0).
