MINUTES CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 10, 1993 to be returned by the end of March, with trees distributed by the end of April. Information sheets will detail the variety and traits of the available trees, and there will be display boards at City Hall showing what the appearance of the trees when full grown, as well as a video showing proper care. The Administrator also reported that it will be necessary to coordinate volunteers to provide planting. The Administrator reported that it is necessary to place the order for the trees now to guarantee their availability. The Administrator reported that he is comfortable with the program as it is being developed. However, if there is not full participation in the program, there will be some exposure on the part of the City. The Administrator reported that the Park Consultant has indicated that any trees not purchased by businesses and residents can be used in the City's park system. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 93-2-41 - APPROVING THE RELEAF GRANT TREE PLANTING PROGRAM AS DESCRIBED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ORDER OF THE APPROPRIATE NUMBER OF TREES FOR THIS PROGRAM The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Aanson, Pedersen, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 93-2-42 - ADJOURNING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. Nays (o). Resolution declared adopted.
