MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />FEBRUARY 26, 2025 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of February 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Gutierrez and Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Assistant City Administrator/Community <br />Relations Manager Laura Linehan, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, and Finance Director Sam <br />Magureanu. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2025-2-30 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 12, <br />2025 WORKSHOP AND THE FEBRUARY 12, 2025 REGULAR MEETINGS AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Assistant City Administrator/Community Relations Manager reminded residents that the trash and <br />recycling cart exchange will take place the week of March 3rd -7th The Little Canada Road project <br />open house will take place on March 5'. The registration price for the 5k Sap Run will soon increase, <br />so sign up now for early bird pricing. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />COMMUNITY SURVEY RESULTS, PETER LEATHERMAN FROM MORRIS <br />LEATHERMAN <br />Peter Leatherman, Morris Leatherman, presented the results of the community survey including details <br />on the survey methodology, city demographics, and answers to the survey questions, also comparing <br />some of those results to past results. <br />Miller referenced the slide on what residents are most worried about and asked if there is a distinction <br />between crime and rising crime. He asked if residents provided any additional details on that answer. <br />
