MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA FEBRUARY 26, 2025 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of February 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Gutierrez and Miller. Absent: None. ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Assistant City Administrator/Community Relations Manager Laura Linehan, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, and Finance Director Sam Magureanu. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2025-2-30 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 12, 2025 WORKSHOP AND THE FEBRUARY 12, 2025 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNOUNCEMENTS The Assistant City Administrator/Community Relations Manager reminded residents that the trash and recycling cart exchange will take place the week of March 3rd -7th The Little Canada Road project open house will take place on March 5'. The registration price for the 5k Sap Run will soon increase, so sign up now for early bird pricing. PUBLIC COMMENT None. PRESENTATIONS COMMUNITY SURVEY RESULTS, PETER LEATHERMAN FROM MORRIS LEATHERMAN Peter Leatherman, Morris Leatherman, presented the results of the community survey including details on the survey methodology, city demographics, and answers to the survey questions, also comparing some of those results to past results. Miller referenced the slide on what residents are most worried about and asked if there is a distinction between crime and rising crime. He asked if residents provided any additional details on that answer.
