Little Canada, Minnesota City Administrator Recruitment Profile <br />Strategic Direction <br />As the City moves toward 2030, the leadership has set a direction to improve or become the following:• Be a safe, connected, and accessible City• Have expansive parks infrastructure and recreation opportunities• Have vibrant neighborhoods and commercial corridors• Enhance collaborative and connected governance• Have efficient, sustainable, effective, and transparent city operations <br />The focus of the next two years of the vision is centered on four strategic directions:• Delivering dynamic community spaces• Empowering high performance• Creating supportive networks• Providing transparent communication <br />Priorities for the First 6-12 Months <br />• Become familiar with current projects and the new strategic plan priorities• Build relationships and trust with all staff and agencies like the Fire Department, Sheriff’s Office, and community groups• Embrace the small-town feel by getting to know local groups, residents, and business owners • Get to know the organization, become familiar with staff, build culture, and nourish a sense of team throughout the entire organization• Work with the City Engineer and Public Works Director on two Little Canada Road intersection reconstruction projects• Become familiar with the plans to build a gathering space for the community• Work with legislators on bonding for various capital projects
