MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL/PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 10, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota and the Park and Recreation Commission was <br />held on the 10th day of March, 1993 in the Council <br />Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Aanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 6:30 P.M., and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Bev Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Admin. <br />P & R Comm. <br />P & R Comm. <br />P & R Comm. <br />P & R Comm. <br />P & R Comm. <br />P & R Comm. <br />P & R Comm. <br />P & R Director <br />Recording Sec <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Ken Wehrle <br />Mr. Joe Fasciana <br />Mr. Larry Hartman <br />Ms. Karen Johnson <br />Ms. B. Remerowski <br />Ms. Jan Sherman <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Mr. Myers Frattalone <br />Mrs. June Frattalone <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />The Mayor pointed out that the purpose of tonight's <br />meeting is to hold a joint workshop meeting of the Park <br />and Recreation Commission and the City Council. Scalze <br />noted that the ordinance establishing the Park and <br />Recreation Commission calls for a minimum of one <br />workshop per year of the two bodies. <br />Ken Wehrle, Park & Recreation Commission Chair, <br />submitted to those present a priority listing that the <br />Park & Recreation Commission developed for 1993 <br />expenditures, as well as information on the funding <br />status of the Park Development Fund and the Park <br />Acquisition Fund. Wehrle noted that donations to park <br />development have started to slow down, and predicted <br />that due to this fact, park development will start to <br />Page 1 <br />
