MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 24, 1993 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-3-69 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MARCH 3~ 1993 COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING AS CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen. <br />Nays (1) Morelan. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-3-70 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MARCH 10, 1993 COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Pedersen pointed out that page 14 of the March lOth <br />regular Council meeting minutes should be amended to <br />show that the City's water supply is purchased from the <br />City of St. Paul and not Roseville. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-3-71 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MARCH 10, 1993 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, Hanson, LaValle, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SENIOR Mayor Hanson reported that Presbyterian Homes senior <br />AOUSING housing project, "The Mayfield", is proceeding rapidly. <br />PROJECT The project consists of 93 units, and 85 have been <br />leased at this time. 40% of the leasees are from <br />Little Canada, 7% previously lived in Little Canada and <br />8% have families in the City. 23% of leasees are from <br />St. Paul, 18% from Roseville, and 4% from other <br />communities. Hanson reported that there are numerous <br />names on the waiting list. There is 1 one-bedroom unit <br />still available for rent and 7 two-bedrooms, along with <br />one caretaker unit. The average age of leasees is 76. <br />Page 2 <br />
