Resolution declared adopted.
Scalze asked if it was Quicksilver's intention to leave
the house standing should they acquire the property to
the north. Scalze indicated that she has heard that
this is the oldest housing in Little Canada.
Sloan reported that plans are not definite at this
point since Quicksilver is not sure how much of the
property would be needed for the additional parking and
how much of the site would be taken up by a second
access to Country Drive. Sloan reported that at the
very least the site would be commemorated.
EXTENSION Mary Ann 0'Kane reported that Twin City Federal has
OF CUP requested the extension of the Conditional Use Permit
ALLOWING that was granted to the Market Place Shopping Center
FOR BINGO which would allow a bingo hall on the premises. O'Kane
HALL AT pointed out that the Conditional Use Permit was granted
MARKET last year and is about to expire. TCF has attempted
PLACE to make use of that CUP up to this point, but has been
unsuccessful, and would like the CUP extended should a
bingo hall license become available in the City.
O'Kane indicated that she and TCF realize that should a
bingo hall license become available, the CUP would give
The Market Place Shopping Center the opportunity to be
considered for that license.
LaValle asked if it were true that a CUP ran with the
land and should The Market Place Shopping Center be
sold, the CUP would transfer to the new owner.
