2 <br />Analysis and Process <br />As Park View Court Association is the first association to request to join the city’s organized <br />collection, staff worked with Attorney Amanda Johnson to ensure a proper and repeatable process <br />would be followed in the event of future requests. As part of that process, Attorney Johnson <br />recommended meeting with the haulers to ensure that no contact amendment was required. She also <br />articulated that a more formal resolution was approved by the Park View Court Association, which <br />includes reference to agreement the HOA may not terminate organized connection unless the city <br />terminates organized collection. <br />Staff worked with both haulers to determine acceptable resolution language and with Attorney Johnson <br />to draft a formal resolution from the HOA. That Resolution was signed by the Park View Court <br />Association on March 25, 2025 (See Attachment A). Park View Court additionally provided container <br />sizes for each address, totaling 22 properties. As articulated by Attorney Johnson, final approval <br />remains with the City of Little Canada City Council, and no amendment to either hauler agreement is <br />required, per the haulers. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends approving a resolution authorizing Park View Court Association to join the City of <br />Little Canada’s organized collection of mixed municipal solid waste and recyclable materials. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Attachment A: Park View Court Association Resolution <br />Attachment B: Resolution authorizing Park View Court Association to join the City of Little <br />Canada’s organized collection of mixed municipal solid waste and recyclable materials.
