MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 12, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notioe thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 12th day of May, 1993 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 5:35 P.M., and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Bev Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: LCBH Mr. Tom Short <br />Market Place Mr. Jim Stellick <br />Market Place Mrs. Mary Ann O'Kane <br />St. Joe's Ms. Lois Blomberg <br />St. Joe's Ms. Linda Johnson <br />LC Charity Mr. Dick Pillsbury <br />LC Charity Ms. Jan Sherman <br />Fire Dept. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />CHARITABLE LaValle reported that about a yea r and a half ago the <br />GAMBLING City was informed by some of the charities that there <br />was a problem with the rents bein g charged at the <br />Little Canada Bingo Hall. At tha t time a committee was <br />formed to look at the issue. Aft er review of committee <br />discussion, the Council decided n ot to get into rent <br />limitation, but indicated that it may be willing to <br />issue another bingo hall license if there was a <br />property owner interested in it.
