MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 20, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 20th day of May, 1993 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 P.M., and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Bev Scalze <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br /> LCBH Mr. Tom Short <br /> LCBH Mr. David Slipy <br /> TCF Mr. Marty Krogman <br /> Market Place Mrs. Mary Ann O'Kane <br /> Fire Dept. Mr. Dick Boss <br /> Fire Dept. Mr. Bob Johnson <br /> NSYA Mr. Bob Matson <br /> NSYA Mrs. Betty Matson <br /> Lake Owasso Mrs. Betty Strohbeen <br /> Venetian Inn Mr. Joe Vitale <br /> City Attorney Mr. Paul Ostrow <br /> Recording Sec. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />CAARITABLE Hanson reported that tonight's workshop is a <br />GAMBLING continuation of a workshop held on Wednesday, May <br />12th. At the conclusion of the May 12th workshop the <br />organizations were to meet with representatives of <br />Mover's Warehouse and Twin City Federal and bring back <br />rental packages for their bingo operation. <br />LaValle pointed out that the Mover's Warehouse bingo <br />hall license is up for consideration of renewal at the <br />May 26th regular Council meeting. LaValle indicated <br />that if the rent situation is not addressed by that <br />meeting, it may not be possible to act on renewal of <br />the bingo hall license. <br />Page 1 <br />
