MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 26, 1993 essence for resolving the matter. 5hort asked if it would be possible for the City to act on renewal of the Mover~s Warehouse bingo hall license, and revoke it at a later date should the decision be to move the bingo hall to the Market Place. The Administrator felt that was an option, but one that presented problems. Short pointed out that it would keep the process moving and ensure that the bingo operation remained open. The City Attorney reported that his offioe would not recommend the course of action suggested by Short. The Administrative Assistant pointed out that the May 26th Council meeting is the latest that the Council can act on renewal of the Mover's Warehouse bingo license so that it can be scheduled for review by the State without a lapse in the operation. Matson suggested that TCF submit a bingo hall license application for review by the City Council at its May 26th meeting, otherwise it is possible that there will be no bingo in Little Canada during the month of August. The Administrator suggested that tomorrow he would send a letter to the various organizations that may have an interest outlining the situation and surveying their preference for the TCF or Mover's Warehouse proposals. Scalze suqgested that the list of organizations also include LCRA, the Historical Society, and St. John's Men's Club. Matson asked if the rental packages presented would be all inclusive. Krogman replied that the package from TCF would be all inclusive. It was the consensus of the Council to continue the workshop meeting until Wednesday, May 26th, at 6:30 P.M., at which time the results of the survey will be presented and discussed.
