MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 26, 1993 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-137 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MAY 12, 1993 SPECIAL MEETING OF THE EDA AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Aanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-138 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MAY 12, 1993 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCE- On behalf of the City Council and staff, Hanson wished <br />MENTS residents a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend. <br />RYAN Hanson opened the public hearing to consider the <br />INDUSTRIAL improvement of streets within Ryan Industrial Park, <br />PARK including storm drainage facilities. Hanson pointed <br />IMPROVEMENT that a public hearing was held on this improvement <br />HEARING earlier, but six months has elapsed without the project <br />being ordered. Therefore, it is necessary to hold <br />another hearing. <br />The City Engineer reported that the feasibility report <br />on this project was presented to the Council in <br />November of 1991. At that time a number of options <br />were looked at including total street reconstruction <br />and a patch and overlay option. It that time a patch <br />and overlay improvement was preferred. <br />The Engineer reported that the spring thaw was very <br />Page 2 <br />
