MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 26, 1993 <br />MUSIC IN Council reviewed the Park and Recreation Director's <br />THE PARKS request for funding of a"Music In The Parks" program <br /> to take place on three Wednesdays in August. Council <br /> suggested that the Director place the appropriate <br /> article in the City's newsletter informing residents of <br /> the program. <br /> Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-154 - APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br /> UP TO $750.00 FOR THE "MUSIC IN THE PARKS" PROGRAM AS <br /> REQUESTED BY TAE PARK AND RECREATION DIRECTOR <br /> The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SENIOR Council reviewed the request of the Park and Recreation <br />5URVEY Director for City participation in the amount of $600 <br /> for a survey of seniors within the City to determine <br /> senior needs. The City would be participating in the <br /> survey with the School District. Total cost is <br /> estimated at $1,200. <br /> Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-155 - APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br /> UP TO $600 FOR THE CITY'S SHARE IN THE COST OF A SENIOR <br /> NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY AS REQUESTED BY THE PARK AND <br /> RECREATION DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-156 - ADJOURNING INTO CLOSED <br />SESSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson. <br />Nays (0).
