MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 23, 1993 <br />meters and one connection, should one of the utility <br />bills not be paid, both houses would be shut off. <br />Revoir pointed out, however, that his mother was the <br />property owner and ultimately responsible for both <br />houses anyway. <br />Pedersen stated that he did not see a problem with the <br />one connection pointing out that the second house would <br />not last indefinitely and would not have high water <br />usaqe. <br />Morelan asked if there was any reason not to approve <br />the one connection. <br />The City Administrator commented that this is not <br />typically recommended, however, the circumstances are <br />unique in this instance. The Administrator pointed out <br />that there could be water pressure problems, however, <br />Mr. Revoir has indicated that there are no pressure <br />problems with both houses connected to the same well. <br />The Administrator reported that he has not discussed <br />this request in detail with Public Works, therefore, <br />was unsure if one or two meters would be preferable. <br />The Administrator reminded Mr. Revoir that at the point <br />the well is no longer used, it should be properly <br />abandoned. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-6-190 - GRANTING PERMISSION FOR ONE <br />WATER MAIN CONNECTION AT 3020 EDGERTON STREET BASED ON <br />THE REQUEST SUBMITTED BY MR. JAMES REVOIR AND <br />INSTRUCTING THE CITY STAFF TO WORK OUT TAE DETAILS OF <br />METERING AND UTILITY BILLING AS THEY DETERMINE <br />APPROPRIATE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Aanson, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSENT Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />AGENDA moved its adoption: <br />VOUCHERS RESOLUTION NO. 93-6-191 - APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
