Resolution declared adopted.
CABLE TV The City Administrator reported that due to this
BROADCAST evening's storm, a good portion of the meeting
broadcast was without audio. The problem has now been
corrected, however.
REVOIR Mr. James Revoir, representing his mother, Martha
WATER MAIN Revoir, appeared before the Council to request that
CONNECTION the two structures at 3020 Edgerton Street be allowed
to connect to the new water main which will be
installed along Edqerton via one service. Revoir
reported that both houses are now connected to one
well. Revoir also suggested that if the City desires,
he could have a meter installed at each house. Revoir
reported that the small house has only one bathroom and
no laundry facilities, therefore, had a low water
usage.
Morelan asked if there was one property owner involved.
Revoir replied that his mother owns both houses. One
is a rental unit and has a minimum value. Revoir also
pointed out that the two houses are situated in such a
way that the property could not be divided. Both houses are
connected to sanitary sewer via one 4-inch connection,
although sanitary sewer is billed separately to each
house. Revoir reported that the water connection from
the house to the street is already in place, and he did
not want to tear up the yard to put in an additional
connection for the second house. Revoir reported that
he is trying to keep the cost of water main improvement
down for his mother.
Morelan asked if one meter would be installed for both
houses.
Revoir suggested that each house could be metered
separately if the City preferred.
