MINLJTES OF THE REGiJI~7~R MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINN~SOTA <br />AUGUST 11, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the llth day of August, 1993 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Bev Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Cable TV Prod. Mr. Bill Bruce <br />Recording Sec. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />NADEAU Mayor Hanson reported that there will be a dedication <br />PARK ceremony at the newly constructed play lot at Nadeau <br />DEDICATION Park on Saturday, August 28th at 12 P.M. The public is <br />encouraged to attend. <br />CANADIAN Bill Bruce invited the City Council and general public <br />DAYS to the annual Canadian Days Celebration to be held this <br />weekend, August 13th through 15th, at Spooner Park. <br />Bruce reviewed the list of events for the celebration <br />which include, but are not limited to, a Friday night <br />corn feed, street dance, a carnival and kittenball <br />tournament continuing through the weekend. On <br />Saturday events include a fun-run, pancake breakfast, <br />street dance with a parade held on Sunday. Bruce <br />reported that Canadian Days Committee Members will be <br />wearing buttons and ribbons to identify themselves for <br />anyone who may have questions or concerns during the <br />celebration. <br />Bruce also reported that the Thunder Bay Office of <br />Page 1 <br />
