MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE C2INADA, MINNESOTA OCTOBER 12, 1993 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of October, 1993 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Acting Mayor Beverly Scalze chaired and called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Acting Mayor Mrs. Beverly Scalze Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen MEMBERS ABSENT: Mayor Council Member Mr. Raymond Hanson Mr. Jim LaValle ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. City Attorney City Engineer Recording Sec Mr. Joel Hanson Mr. Tom Sweeney Mr. Mike Lynch Mrs. Kathy Glanzer ASSESSMENT Acting Mayor Scalze opened the public hearing to IIEARING consider the assessment for Improvement No. 92-5, IMP. NO. LaBore Road between the east line of DeSoto Street to 92-5 the west line of Edgerton Street by street LABORE ROAD reconstruction and storm sewer improvements. The amount to be assessed against benefitting properties is $63,829.29. City Engineer Mike Lynch presented the cost summary for the project pointing out that at the improvement hearing total project costs of $307,054, assessed costs of $87,197, and City costs of $219,857 were projected. Final total project costs are $291,297, assessed costs are $63,829.29, and City costs are $227,467.71. The Engineer reported that final costs are better than originally estimated due to a favorable project bid.
