MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 12, 1993 <br />Devich reported that he has a drainage easement through <br />his yard, and was concerned that increased water <br />through his property could not be handled by the duct <br />work that is in place. <br />Martha Revoir, 3020 Edgerton, was concerned that <br />restoration has not been completed in her yard, and <br />pointed out that there are holes in her driveway which <br />are hazardous. <br />The City Engineer indicated that he would have the <br />project superintendent contact Mrs. Revoir and address <br />the problems. <br />The property owner at 2924 Edgerton indicated that the <br />assessment roll shows a service connection for his <br />property, and he has not connected. <br />Jack Schmidt, 2718 Edgerton, reported that one of his <br />property stakes was removed during the project, and he <br />has paid to have that stake replaced. <br />The City Engineer suggested that Schmidt forward the <br />bill to the City. The contractor will be contacted for <br />reimbursement of this invoice. <br />The City Attorney pointed out that the assessment roll <br />contains some errors in service charges. The Attorney <br />recommended that the assessment hearing be continued <br />until the assessment roll can be corrected. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-10-316 - CONTINUING THE ASSESSMENT <br />HEARING FOR THE EDGERTON WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT UNTIL <br />WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 1993 AT 9:00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (3) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ASSESSMENT Scalze opened the assessment hearing for Costa Lane <br />HEARING from DeSoto Street to DeSoto Street by storm sewer, <br />IMP. NO. water main, sanitary sewer, concrete curb and gutter, <br />92-10 and bituminous street construction. The amount to be <br />COSTA LANE assessed is $210,105.00. <br />Mr. Murf Jespersen asked why cost figures differ from <br />the bid amount. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that the bid is on a <br />Page 20 <br />
