MINiI'PES
CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 16, 1993
pays to its crew. The Administrator felt that the
addition of the two vehicles to the City's fleet would
enhance the service being provided while saving money
at the same time.
LaValle asked if the Roseville trucks were equipped
with plows and sanders.
The 5uperintendent replied that the plows are in qood
condition, but the sanders would be replaced with ones
the City already has.
Morelan asked if both City vehicles were in need of
replacement.
The Superintendent reported that they were.
Pedersen asked the condition of the Roseville trucks.
The Superintendent reported that he has looked at the
trucks several times and they are in good shape. The
trucks would also come with maintenance records, and
Roseville does a good job of maintaining their
vehicles.
The City Administrator pointed out that the trucks will
be going to auction, therefore, the City will have to
make a bid on the trucks.
Morelan asked how this purchased ranked in the capital
improvement budget.
The City Administrator pointed out that this purchase
was budgeted for this year.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 93-10-263 - AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
SUPERINTENDENT TO SUBMIT A BID FOR THE TWO ROSEVILLE
PLOW TRUCKS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE CITY'S
BUDGETED FIGURE
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan.
Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, LaValle.
Nays (0).
