MINUTES CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 24, 1993 discuss business retention. More information will be gathered on a program that would not cost the City anything and would involve volunteers. This information will be brought back to the City Council. Hanson reported that he and the City Administrator will be contacting businesses in the City to determine if there are things that the City can do to address their needs or concerns. COMMi7NITY Morelan asked for more information on the Community PRIDE Pride Committee and how it was formed. COMMITTEE Scalze reported that the committee was proposed at the City Council level and initially formed to discuss code enforcement issues. There were representatives of the business community on the committee, including representation from Ryan Industrial Park. The Administrator felt there were merits to such a committee continuing on. Some of the programs developed or issues discussed by this committee were the City's tree program, clean-up day, code enforcement, and street projects. Scalze stated that the committee formed initially to discuss code enforcement, and that the Building Official was a part of the committee. Hanson pointed out that some of the members of the committee have since left the City. FIRE Pedersen asked the status of the fire inspection INSPECTION program. PROGRAM The City Administrator replied that the program has not gotten underway as yet. Staff is in the process of revising forms that will be used in the program. ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 93-11-277 - ADJOURNING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen.
