MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 23~ 1994 <br />The City Administrator pointed out that the Park & <br />Recreation Commission has indicated that the City has <br />some park acquisition needs, and the Commission will be <br />identifying those needs. The Administrator indicated <br />that once the needs are identified, the resources could <br />be identified as well. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-3-82 - ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION <br />OF THE PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION THAT PARK <br />ACQUISITION FUNDS NOT BE USED TO PAY FOR CITY <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS ABUTTING PARK PROPERTIES <br />PENDING COMPLETION OF A LISTING OF THE CITY~S PARK <br />ACQUISITION NEEDS AND A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE <br />COMMISSION DETAILING WHAT THE PARK ACQUISITION FUND <br />SHOULD BE USED FOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (3) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (2) Morelan, Hanson. Resolution declared adopted. <br />TWIN LAKE The City Administrator reported that some of the <br />ENVIRONMENTAL residents on Twin Lake Trail have asked that the City <br />REGULATIONS work with Vadnais Heights on developing joint <br />environmental regulations for Twin Lake. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-3-83 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO CONTACT THE CITY OF VADNAIS HEIGHTS <br />A5KING FOR THEIR COOPERATION IN WORKING ON DEVELOPING <br />JOINT TWIN LAKE ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />BOW & ARROW The City Administrator reported that a bow and arrow <br />PERMIT permit has been issued to Dave Cossack for both the <br />Frattalone and Heinel properties. The DNR tested Mr. <br />Cossack's proficiency with a bow and arrow and reported <br />that he performed extremely well. <br />19 <br />
