MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 13, 1994 <br />The Administrator did not believe the City was setting <br />itself up for an expense it could not recoup in the <br />future if we determined contracting to be a better <br />option. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-4-99 - AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN <br />ASPHALT ROLLER AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />SUPERINTENDENT AT A COST OF $6,200.00 PLUS TAX AND TRADE- <br />IN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />BUILDING The City Administrator reported that activity in the <br />INSPECTING building inspection area has not been high and has been <br />manageable with the temporary inspector who has been <br />assisting the City. The Administrator reported that he <br />is continuing to evaluate alternatives in this area and <br />should be presenting the Council with a recommendation in <br />the near future. <br />PARK The City Administrator reviewed the Park and Recreation <br />ACQUISITION Commission's request that City staff research the <br />NEED5 availability of certain pieces of property in the City <br />which would help complete the City's park system. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-4-100 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO CONTACT THE OWNERS OF THOSE PROPERTIES <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION TO <br />DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF THESE PARCELS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CITY CENTER The Council reviewed the Park & Recreation Director's <br />SIGN recommendation that a small committee be appointed to <br />COMMITTEE evaluate and put a recommendation together for a City <br />26 <br />
