MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
APRIL 27, 1994
Scalze again pointed out that the need for expansion of
the blockworker program is not at The Mayfield, but in
other areas of the City.
The Administrator suggested that when he sends the $1,950
payment, he include a letter indicating that the City's
primary concern is that the blockworker program be
expanded in other areas of the City than The Mayfield,
and that the City would expect to see justification for
the additional fundinq as well as measurable results
before a 1995 funding request would be considered.
POOLSIDE The City Planner reported that about four years ago a
conditional use permit was approved for Poolside for
construction of an above-ground pool for display
purposes. That pool has since been replaced with an
inground pool. The Planner asked the Council if it was
their feeling that the CUP would apply to the inground
pool.
Morelan asked if there were any safety concerns at the
site.
The Planner replied that the pool area appears to be
safe.
Consensus was that existing CUP would apply to this
situation.
CODE Scalze pointed out comments made at the Planning
ENFORCEMENT Commission meeting that a semi truck may be used for cold
storage at the Northern Air site. Scalze pointed out
that this is against the code, and the site should be
monitored to ensure that this does not happen.
ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 94-4-113 - ADJOURNING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze, Hanson.
Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted.
32
