MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 25, 1994 Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. HOLD The City Attorney submitted for Council approval a HARMLESS Hold Harmless Agreement between the City and the Little AGREEMENT Canada Recreation Association transferring ownership of FOR PIONEER Pioneer Park fencing to the City, and holding the LCRA PARK harmless relating to the ownership and operation of FENCING this fencing. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 94-5-132 - APPROVING THE HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT FOR PIONEER PARK FENCING AS SUBMITTED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Morelan reported that he has received considerable comments on the Pioneer Park fencing. While all are favorable, it has been suggested that the fencing along the foul lines be extended. The fencing in this area extends for 10 feet, and it has been suggested that it extend 20 to 25 feet. Morelan suggested that this matter be scheduled for discussion by the Park & Recreation Commission. COMMUNITY The City Administrator recommended that the City SURVEY enter into an agreement with Decision Resources to conduct a community survey at a cost not to exceed $8,000. The Administrator pointed out the discussion at the Council workshop meeting held earlier this evening pertaining to services which would be provided.
