MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 25, 1994 <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />HOLD The City Attorney submitted for Council approval a <br />HARMLESS Hold Harmless Agreement between the City and the Little <br />AGREEMENT Canada Recreation Association transferring ownership of <br />FOR PIONEER Pioneer Park fencing to the City, and holding the LCRA <br />PARK harmless relating to the ownership and operation of <br />FENCING this fencing. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-5-132 - APPROVING THE HOLD HARMLESS <br />AGREEMENT FOR PIONEER PARK FENCING AS SUBMITTED BY THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan reported that he has received considerable <br />comments on the Pioneer Park fencing. While all are <br />favorable, it has been suggested that the fencing along <br />the foul lines be extended. The fencing in this area <br />extends for 10 feet, and it has been suggested that it <br />extend 20 to 25 feet. Morelan suggested that this <br />matter be scheduled for discussion by the Park & <br />Recreation Commission. <br />COMMUNITY The City Administrator recommended that the City <br />SURVEY enter into an agreement with Decision Resources to <br />conduct a community survey at a cost not to exceed <br />$8,000. The Administrator pointed out the discussion <br />at the Council workshop meeting held earlier this <br />evening pertaining to services which would be provided. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-5-133 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH DECISION <br />20 <br />
