MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 7, 1994 <br />City representation on that Committee. <br />In discussing the matter with the Council, Scalze <br />indicated that she would be willing to serve as an <br />alternate should Dennis Carson be willing to serve as <br />the City's representative. Pedersen indicated that he <br />could no longer serve due to the time commitment <br />involved. Staff was instructed to contact Carson to <br />determine if he was interested. <br />COUNTY The City Administrator reported that in reviewing the <br />CDBG JOINT County's Community Development Block Grant Joint Powers <br />POWERS Agreement Amendment, some cities were concerned about <br />AMENDMENT the allocation process. The Administrator reported <br /> that he has sent a letter to Judy Karon of Ramsey <br /> County asking that the allocation process be evaluated <br /> due to the concerns raised. The Administrator asked <br /> that the Council ratify this request to the County. <br /> The Administrator pointed out that re-evaluation of the <br /> process may or may not benefit Little Canada in any <br /> future request for CDBG funds, but it seems worthwhile <br /> to explore any possibilities. <br /> Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-6-142 - RATIFYING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR~S POSITION ON THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT EVALUATION PROCESS AS OUTLINED IN HIS <br />LETTER DATED JUNE 1, 1994 TO JUDY KARON OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 5calze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0).
