MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 22, 1994 <br />Canadian Days Celebration. <br />The Administrative Assistant replied that it was, and <br />noted that the Canadian Days Celebration was held in <br />Spooner Park, therefore, the City would have to sign <br />the Lease Agreement as Lessor of the premises. <br />Morelan suggested that the pull-tab booth be located <br />within the beer gardens rather than out on the main <br />grounds. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-6-150 - APPROVING TAE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: <br />*APPROVAL OF APPLICATION FOR ONE-DAY OFF-SITE LAWFIIL <br />GAMBLING PERMIT FOR CANADIAN DAYS FOR SATURDAY, <br />AUGUST 13, 1994 AS PART OF THE CANADIAN DAYS <br />CELEBRATION THE SECOND WEEKEND IN AUGUST WITH TAE <br />SUGGESTION THAT THE PULL-TAB BOOTH BE LOCATED WITHIN <br />THE BEER GARDENS; <br />*APPROVAL OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE REFUNDING <br />BONDS, SERIES 1994 - WELLINGTON III ASSOCIATES, AND <br />AUTAORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY~ <br />*APPROVAL OF CONSULTING FEES FOR JOHN PALACIO AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY COUNCIL~ <br />*APPROVAL OF SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT CONTRACT AMENDMENT; <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CLOSED The City Attorney recommended that the Council qo into <br />SESSION closed session following the meeting to discuss <br />attorney-client privileged information relating to a <br />lawsuit served on the City by Ashland Oil as well as <br />the Mover's Warehouse litigation. <br />4 <br />
