MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 13, 1994 Mill ponding area. The low quotation received was from Ro-So Contracting in the amount of $14,740. Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94-7-172 - AWARDING THE LOW BID FROM RO- SO CONTRACTING IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,740 FOR TI-IE NOEL DRIVE STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (4) Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. TELE- The Council discussed their review of the White Paper COMMi7NICATIONS on telecommunication regulatory policy issues and the REGULATORY technical nature of this matter. It was the consensus ISSUES of the Council to invite Coralie Wilson, Executive Director of the Cable TV Commission to meet with the Council in a workshop to discuss the White Paper. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 27th, at 6:30 P.M. at the City Center. DONATION The City Administrator reported that Lake Owasso FROM LAKE Residence Volunteer Council would like to donate OWASSO FOR $1,000 for the music at Canadian Days. Since MUSIC AT Canadian Days conducts qambling, and donations from CANADIAN one gambling organization to another are not allowed, DAYS Lake Owasso would like to donate the money to the City for disbursement to Canadian Days. It was the recommendation of the City Administrator that the donation be accepted, and the City increase the Canadian Days budget by $1,000. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94-7-173 - ACCEPTING THE $1,000 DONATION OF LAKE OWASSO RESIDENCE COUNCIL AND INCREASING THE CANADIAN DAYS BUDGET ALLOCATION BY $1,000 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 13
