However, life safety <br />issues are of great importance to the Dominium Group, <br />and buildings would be brought up to City Code <br />requirements. <br />Pedersen asked if Dominium Group rehabed buildinqs for <br />resale. <br />Sween reported that his firm has existed for 22 years <br />and currently owns 35 locations. During that time only <br />two property sites have been sold. Dominium Group <br />purchases properties as part of their business and are <br />long-term owners. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-7-174 - APPROVING A RESOLUTION <br />RECITING A PROPOSAL FOR A FINANCING PROGRAM FOR A <br />MULTI-FAMILY RENTAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, GIVING <br />PRELIMINARY APPROVAL TO THE PROJECT AND THE ISSUANCE OF <br />HOUSING REVENUE BONDS, PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, <br />CHAPTER 462C, AND AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A <br />HOUSING PROGRFIM (LITTLE CANADA LEASED HOUSING <br />ASSOCIATES LIMITED PARTNERSAIP PROJECT) AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION BY THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY SUBJECT TO THE IMPOSITION OF A FEE SCHEDULE <br />FOR THE PROCESSING OF TI-IESE DOCUMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />WORKSHOP TO It was the consensus of the Council to schedule a <br />REVIEW ANNUAL workshop to review the 1993 Annual Financial Report5 <br />FINANCIAL on Wednesday, August 10, 1994, at 6 P.M. at the City <br />REPORTS Center. <br />CITY T-SHIRTS Hanson reported that the Community Pride Committee <br />would like authorization to purchase City T-shirts for <br />resale to promote pride in the community as well as to <br />generate some revenue to carry out some recognition <br />projects they are discussing.
