MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 13, 1994 <br />CANADIAN <br />DAYS <br />PERMITS <br />Morelan felt that the details should be clarified and <br />discussed with staff, and a policy presented to the <br />Council at its next meeting. <br />LaValle again pointed out that the Council informed the <br />residents of the area that this type of usage of the <br />park would not be allowed. <br />Morelan pointed out that the Council's 1989 motion says <br />restricted tournament usage would be allowed. <br />Hanson stated that he would support the concept at this <br />point pending receipt of additional information at the <br />next Council meeting. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-7-178 - APPROVING IN CONCEPT THE <br />WINDISH REQUEST FOR IISE OF PIONEER PARK FOR A FUND- <br />RAISING TOURNAMENT, SUBJECT TO THE APPROPRIATE LICENSES <br />BEING OBTAINED BY THE APPLICANT, AND SUBJECT TO <br />LIABILITY CONCERNS BEING ADDRESSED TO THE SATISFACTION <br />OF THE CITY STAFF, AND INSTRUCTING THE APPLICANT TO <br />APPEAR AT THE JULY 27, 1994 COUNCIL MEETING TO DISCUSS <br />THE MATTER IN MORE DETAIL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (3j Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson. <br />Nays (1) LaValle.
