MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 13, 1994 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Morelan. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANADA WOODS The City Administrator reported that the City Engineer <br />WEST - has reviewed the fill permit application for Canada <br />FILL PERMIT Woods West and is recommending approval. The <br />Administrator recommended that any approval of that <br />permit be contingent upon clean-up of debris on the <br />site which the City has been addressing with the <br />developer <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-7-180 - APPROVING THE FILL PERMIT FOR <br />CANADA WOODS WEST AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER <br />CONTINGENT UPON CLEAN-UP OF TI-IE SITE AS DIRECTED BY THE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AGENDA Morelan pointed out that the item on tournament usage <br />PROCEDURES of Pioneer Park may have come in too late in order to <br />be included in the floor agenda published in the Little <br />Canada Press. Therefore, residents in the area were <br />not aware this matter would be discussed by the <br />Council. Morelan indicated that the City has a <br />deadline of Noon on the Thursday prior to the Council <br />meeting for submission of information to be published. <br />Morelan suggested that this be the deadline for <br />including items for discussion on the agenda. In that <br />way, the floor agenda which is published can be <br />complete. Items that come in after the deadline can <br />either be postponed until the next Council meeting, or <br />included on the Additions to the Agenda. <br />Morelan also suggested that agenda packets be prepared <br />and distributed on Thursdays rather than Fridays. This <br />gives the Council an extra day to review the packets <br />and follow up with questions to staff, if necessary. <br />The City Administrator was concerned that cutting off <br />the submission of agenda items to Thursday noon could <br />result in unnecessary delays, and including items <br />22 <br />
