MINUTES CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 24, 1994 RESOLUTION NO. 94-8-221 - APPROVING TFIE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW OPEN AND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS IN THE I-P DISTRICT AS REQUESTED BY GARDNER BROS. HOMES AT 450 EAST COUNTY ROAD D SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED JULY 12, 1994, AND SUBJECT TO TI3E CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS BEING SCREENED WITHIN 30 DAYS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CUP FOR Hanson opened the public hearing to consider the SECOND application for Conditional Use Permit to allow GARAGE - construction of a second garage accessory to a single- HEDLUND family home as requested by Dean Hedlund at 655 Keller Parkway. The Planning Commission has recommended approval of the CUP. Mr. Hedlund reported that he needs a second garage for additional storage area. While access to the second garage would be restricted at this time, in the future he would be constructing a retaining wall and removing a tree to open up the access. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94-8-222 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A SECOND GARAGE ACCESSORY TO A SINGLE-FAMILY HOME AT 655 KELLER PARKWAY AS REQUESTED BY DEAN HEDLUND SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED AUGUST 5, 1994 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 11
