The Administrator felt that land assembly <br />would be a key issue, pointing out that there is more <br />flexibility in developing larger parcels. <br />Remerowski did not feel a large redevelopment project <br />would be proposed to the City, and felt that the <br />redevelopment of Rice Street would have to start with <br />smaller projects. <br />Morelan suggested a question about whether or not <br />residents would support tax incentives, etc. to assist <br />in the redevelopment of Rice Street. Morris aqreed <br />that the question could be worded to determine how <br />aggressive the City should be in the redevelopment of <br />Rice Street. <br />Morris pointed out the addition of "hotel" to the list <br />of questions 78 through 89, and asked if there were any <br />other additions to deletions to this list. <br />Scalze suggested that "park-and-ride lot" be deleted. <br />LaValle suggested that "drug store" and "gasoline and <br />convenience store" be deleted. The Administrator <br />suggested that "movie theater" be added. <br />It was agreed that the questions regarding Rainbow <br />Foods and a casino be deleted. It was also suggested <br />that question 97 be reworded to ask residents for their <br />choice between "Little Canada Press" and the "Roseville <br />Review". <br />Morelan suqgested that question 99 ask specifically <br />about Channel 16. <br />Morris asked for any additional input. <br />It was suggested that "noise pollution" be added to the <br />list of questions 44 through 51. It was also suggested <br />that a question be added about temporary and commercial <br />signs. <br />Hanson asked if there was a way to ensure that some of <br />the respondents to the survey are business owners in <br />the City. <br />LaValle suggested a separate mailed survey to business <br />owners once the residential survey is completed. <br />Morris offered to work with the City in developing the <br />written survey and providing some analysis of its <br />results. Morris suggested that the telephone survey <br />include a question asking whether or not the respondent <br />12 <br />
