MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 12, 1994 <br />his property, however, the Code does not allow a <br />property owner barbed wire to do it. <br />Mr. Pedersen introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-349 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />SEPTEMBER 28, 1994 REGULAR COIJNCIL MEETING AS CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Pedersen, LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-350 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />SEPTEMBER 28, 1994 CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Aanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS Hanson announced the need for three citizens-at-large <br />to serve on the City's 10% Committee. This committee <br />will make a recommendation to the Council on funding <br />priorities for the City's 10% funds. Anyone interested <br />in serving should contact City Hall at 484-2177. <br />Hanson reported that the Sheriff's Department is <br />investigating an apparent suicide that occurred on <br />Monday, October lOth in the Ruth Street neighborhood. <br />Once their investigation is completed, the Sheriff's <br />Department in conjunction with the City will meet with <br />the landlords of the properties in this area to discuss <br />issues of mutual concern. <br />Hanson reported that on Tuesday, October 25th, at 1 <br />P.M. the City will conduct a memorial ceremony at City <br />Hall in recognition of the Ramsey County Sheriff's <br />Department Canine "Bud" who was killed in the line of <br />duty earlier this year. The public is welcomed to <br />attend. <br />2 <br />
