MINi7TES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 12, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 12th day of October, 1994 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 6:10 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Park & Rec Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Public Works Mr. Dave Harris <br />Fire Dept. Mr. Jim Gustafson <br />Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />1995 The City Administrator pointed out that as a result <br />BUDGET of the Council's actions at its last budget workshop <br />meeting, the net levy as proposed is 3.30% higher than <br />the 1994 levy. <br />The Administrator reviewed his memo dated October 7th <br />outlining some additional issues for the Council to <br />consider as part of the 1995 budget review process. <br />One is license and permit fee revenues. The <br />Administrator pointed out his recommendations for <br />increases in these permit fees to be considered by the <br />Council this evening at its regular meeting. Should <br />that recommendation be adopted, the result would be an <br />additional $4,650 in revenues net of expenses. <br />The Administrator also proposed that contracted <br />services expense under the Administration Department be <br />reduced from $5,000 to $4,250, or a reduction of $750 <br />in expenses. <br />
