MINi7TES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA OCTOBER 12, 1994 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of October, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to order at 6:10 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson Park & Rec Mr. Jim Morelan Public Works Mr. Dave Harris Fire Dept. Mr. Jim Gustafson Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer 1995 The City Administrator pointed out that as a result BUDGET of the Council's actions at its last budget workshop meeting, the net levy as proposed is 3.30% higher than the 1994 levy. The Administrator reviewed his memo dated October 7th outlining some additional issues for the Council to consider as part of the 1995 budget review process. One is license and permit fee revenues. The Administrator pointed out his recommendations for increases in these permit fees to be considered by the Council this evening at its regular meeting. Should that recommendation be adopted, the result would be an additional $4,650 in revenues net of expenses. The Administrator also proposed that contracted services expense under the Administration Department be reduced from $5,000 to $4,250, or a reduction of $750 in expenses.
