MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 26, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 26th day of October, 1994 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 6:30 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Planning Comm. Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Park Comm. Mr. Jim Greger <br />Decision Res. Mr. Bill Morris <br />Decision Res. Mr. Jim Rose <br />Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />COMMUNITY The City Administrator stated that the purpose of <br />SURVEY tonight's workshop meetinq is to review the latest <br />draft of the community survey to ensure everyone's <br />comfort level with survey content. <br />Bill Morris reported that the current version of the <br />survey is a balance between general issues and specific <br />concerns. The 1988 survey conducted by the City was <br />more focused on specific issues, while this follow-up <br />survey is more general in nature and reflects quality <br />of life concerns that residents raised in the focus <br />group. Morris sugqested that the survey be reviewed on <br />a page by page basis to determine the feelings for what <br />should or should not be included. <br />Morelan stated that he thought about what kind of <br />information he wanted from the survey, and suggested <br />that perhaps his expectations were not realistic. <br />Morelan also stated that as accurate as the information <br />is that will be obtained by the survey, it is still not <br />1 <br />
